Holding space for the parts of you that never felt safe to be seen.

I’m Elena White (she/her), a licensed psychotherapist based in Los Angeles. I work with adults navigating anxiety, identity confusion, intergenerational trauma, and the wounds of emotionally immature caregivers.

I specialize in working with people who feel like outsiders—those who were told they’re too much, not enough, too sensitive, or too complicated. Whether you identify as multiracial, neurodivergent, queer, or simply someone who never quite fit the mold, this is a space where you don’t have to shrink or explain yourself. I also specialize in working with women needing support through peri/menopause, and navigating a new sense of self.

My Approach

Our work together is relational, intuitive, and depth-oriented. I draw from psychodynamic therapy, attachment theory, and somatic work to gently explore how early relationships shaped your sense of self and connection.

Healing isn’t always linear or clinical. I welcome curiosity, dreams, and symbolic language. If you’re open to it, we can also integrate tools like astrology and tarot for deeper insight.

At its core, therapy with me is about coming home to yourself—your truth, your boundaries, your story, and your joy.

My Story & Roots

My family arrived in Los Angeles from Mexico and the American South. I identify as multiracial, and my roots run deep in L.A., including the displaced Chavez Ravine community.

I know what it’s like to carry intergenerational pain and be expected to keep going as if nothing happened. I also know the courage it takes to seek help when healing was never modeled. My path into therapy came from both lived experience and a desire to break cycles with compassion.

What I Believe

  • Healing happens in connection, not isolation

  • There is wisdom in the parts of you you’ve been taught to hide

  • Your culture, your history, and your sensitivity are not weaknesses

  • You don’t have to hold it all together to be worthy of care

Let’s explore what healing could look like on your terms.
