I’m Elena White (she/her)

I am based in Los Angeles and offer online therapy throughout California.

I work with adults who feel isolated, disconnected, or unsure of where they truly belong. Many of my clients have spent years feeling too much or not enough. They are often thoughtful, creative, out of the box thinkers who learned early on to question themselves in order to stay connected to others.

You may be here because you are:

• Recovering from an emotionally immature or narcissistic parent
• Struggling with anxiety, panic, or self doubt
• Navigating multicultural identity or feeling between worlds
• Experiencing burnout, exhaustion, or creative insecurity
• Moving through perimenopause or menopause and noticing emotional shifts
• Rethinking your relationship with your family of origin

If any of this resonates, you are not alone.

I specialize in narcissistic recovery, multicultural and identity issues, anxiety and panic, and the long term effects of emotionally immature or unavailable caregivers.

Therapy here is a grounded, steady space where you do not have to shrink, perform, or explain away your complexity.

Your complexity is welcome here.

My Approach to Therapy

My work is depth oriented, relational, and trauma aware. I draw from psychodynamic therapy, attachment theory, and somatic therapy to understand how early relationships and lived experiences shaped your nervous system, sense of self, and patterns in relationships.

In our work together, we may explore:

  • Family and attachment patterns

  • Anxiety, identity, and emotional overwhelm

  • The impact of narcissistic or emotionally immature parenting

  • Multicultural identity, belonging, and internalized cultural messages

  • Nervous system responses and relationship dynamics

  • Burnout, exhaustion, and creative blocks

  • Emotion, body awareness, dreams, and symbolism

I believe healing happens in connection, not isolation.

The therapeutic relationship itself becomes a place where you can experience something different. A space where you are met with curiosity instead of judgment.

For clients who are interested, astrology and tarot may be integrated as optional reflective tools. They are not used for diagnosis, but can support insight, meaning making, and identity exploration.

At its core, therapy with me is about reconnecting with your boundaries, your story, and your capacity for joy and self-trust.

My Story & Roots

My family arrived in Los Angeles from Mexico and the American South. I identify as a multiracial woman with deep roots in the city, including ties to the displaced Chavez Ravine community.

I understand what it feels like to carry intergenerational trauma while being expected to keep going as if nothing happened. I know the tension of belonging and not belonging at the same time.

My path into psychotherapy grew from lived experience as much as professional training. I am committed to breaking cycles with compassion, honesty, and care.

This work is personal to me.

What I Believe

  • Healing happens in connection, not isolation

  • There is wisdom in the parts of you you were taught to hide

  • Your culture, history, and sensitivity are sources of strength

  • You do not have to hold everything together to be worthy of care
