Somatic & Integrative Therapy
Based in Los Angeles | Virtual Therapy Across California
Depth oriented psychotherapy that integrates nervous system work, attachment theory, and optional symbolic reflection.
When Insight Is Not Enough
You may already understand your patterns.
You can trace them back to childhood.
You know why you react the way you do.
You have read the books. Listened to the podcasts.
And still your body tightens.
Your chest constricts.
You spiral in relationships.
You shut down when conflict appears.
Insight alone does not calm a nervous system.
This is where our work becomes embodied.
What Somatic & Integrative Therapy Means
My approach is relational, depth oriented, and nervous system aware.
Somatic therapy helps us notice what happens physically when something feels threatening or overwhelming.
Instead of pushing through it, we slow down and build capacity.
Small shifts in regulation create real change in how you move through your life.
We work with:
• Attachment patterns
• Emotional memory
• Trauma stored in the body
• Relationship triggers
• Identity formation
• Survival adaptations
Nervous System Focus
Your nervous system learned to protect you.
Maybe that looks like:
• Hyper independence
• Over functioning
• People pleasing
• Emotional shutdown
• Anxiety that spikes in closeness
• Chronic tension or fatigue
These responses are not character flaws.
They are intelligent adaptations.
In therapy, we help your system update those patterns safely and gradually.
Integrative & Intuitive Layers
At its core, this is grounded psychotherapy.
For clients who are interested, we may also incorporate reflective tools such as:
• Dream exploration
• Archetypal or symbolic themes
• Astrology as a framework for identity and relational patterns
Astrology is never predictive or diagnostic.
It can serve as a symbolic map, offering language for attachment styles, relational dynamics, core wounds, and strengths.
Some clients find this deeply validating.
Others prefer a purely clinical approach.
Both are welcome.
Everything remains collaborative and rooted in psychological care.
What Sessions Feel Like
Sessions are paced and relational.
We track:
• Emotional shifts
• Body sensations
• Relational patterns in real time
• Moments of activation or withdrawal
You do not need to organize your story perfectly.
We work with what emerges in the room.
Over time, you may notice:
• Less reactivity
• More emotional range
• Greater clarity in relationships
• Stronger boundaries
• Increased self trust
• A nervous system that feels steadier
